Parents and carers can give their views of our school at any time throughout the school year, using an online questionnaire which can be found here

When our school is notified of our next Section 5 Ofsted inspection, parents will be specifically invited to give their views about the school to inspectors, using the Parent View facility.

It is simple to register with an email address. Once your login has been activated, it only takes a few minutes to complete some pre-determined questions and to enter any free text that you may wish to add.

Your views are important in helping us to know what is going well and what could be improved. Thank you.

September 2023

Please pass on my thanks to all the teachers for the trip to Winchester Science Museum. My child was so enthusiastic when I collected her. The first thing she said was, 'we HAVE to go back there!' Sounds like it was a great trip.

Thank you to all at The Weald for looking after my child during her time at the school. She has very much enjoyed her years here and we as parents have felt that she is safe and cared for. It is much appreciated the time and efforts given to her for pre-SATs sessions, thank you to all the staff involved. Thank you to Mr Mercer for arranging and organising all the sporting events. Thank you to Penny and Kerry in the office, always being there and keeping us organised and always doing it with a smile. To all her teachers throughout the years, they have all been lovely, dedicated and caring. Mrs Moon has stood out, all the children love her and want to take her with them moving onto secondary school. One big last thank you to Mr Baguley, for continually holding the reins and steering in the right direction. I hope The Weald becomes excellent one day.  

I am so thrilled with my child's progress this year and most importantly, his effort and attitude to his learning. Thank you to all the teachers at The Weald and all your support in making my child's first year a great one.

February 2023

After parent's evening. I feel so pleased. The teacher has made me feel so confident and proud in knowing that my child is making good progress and she is being given extra support where she needs it. Most of all, I love how happy she is.

We feel very supported in our child's learning. It is great to hear how we can keep encouraging at home and we are so grateful for all the different strategies used in class to help.

Please pass on my thanks to all staff involved in the Cross Country Event. My children had a fantastic time. To be given this opportunity to compete in a fun and caring environment is really important. For us as parents watching, it was a delight to see both involved and smiling.

December 2022

We wanted to thank you all at The Weald from the bottom of our hearts. Our child is absolutely flourishing at school and tells us excitedly about all the amazing learning she has been doing. Her teachers have inspired her to write and she sees herself as an author. Day to day she is using amazing vocabulary in the correct context. She is so confident at school and has said; "Mr Baguley is always available for us to give him suggestions." You have also changed our sons life. In October he was feeling so anxious, his self-esteem was at an all time low and at his previous school, he was too worried to even speak. In contrast, last night, he stood up and read a poem at the Christingle Service. We were beyond proud. The whole school approach and the year 6 team (adults and children) welcomed our son with open arms. He is like a different boy. He is proud of his achievements, his self-esteem is growing and in turn, he is making great progress. He will be going to secondary school feeling positive and engaged with learning.

I just wanted to pass on our huge thanks for such a fantastic residential trip. We are over the moon that our child wanted to go and actually managed to stay and take on all of the challenges. This is a testament to how safe and happy she feels with you all. She is already looking forward to the next one.

My daughter has loved her time at The Weald since she joined over 2 years ago. She looks forward to coming to school everyday and she adores her teachers past and present.

She is receiving a rich education and happy childhood thanks to the whole team and we are so very grateful.

I want to say how pleased I am with The Weald, especially the exciting Enquiry Curriculum, Sporting Opportunities and Clubs which are available.

I personally cannot thank you enough for being such a lovely, nurturing, strong, progressive school. Both my children have loved and still love coming to The Weald. My child is thriving under the new curriculum and is loving all the enquiry based learning.

I want to thank Mrs Johnson for her time, the information she gave us was very useful and to all the staff, I want you to know that I feel very proud that I chose The Weald. If the rest of my children's time goes as well as the first week, then they will leave with lots of opportunities, good all-round learners and the knowledge to make the right decisions.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for making the year 6 trip so memorable. My child had such a great time and I am so grateful for the care and attention that was provided by yourselves and the venue in terms of her dietary requirements. 

Just a little thank you note to all the teachers that spent the last 3 days with year 6 at High Ashurst. They had such a brilliant time with all the activities, food and great things.

Thank you to all that made this happen and to all that have spent the last 3 days with our children and given up their own nights to sleep out in tents with our children. You are brilliant.

SAT's week was a successful week and we were so proud of all the hard work and determination from year 6. Amongst their hard work they did get to enjoy breakfast and ice lolly treats.

I'm really excited about the curriculum changes, I think they are brave and just what is needed in our education system as a whole.

My child started at The Weald in September 2021 and has loved every minute and never looked back. All of the staff at The Weald have been incredible and we can't thank each and every one of them enough for the amount of support we have both received and I can't emphasise that enough.

I can't fault the school for supporting us emotionally an also pushing my daughter on her learning journey and making it so fun and enjoyable at the same time.

December 2021

Communication has been 100% and as parents we are kept up to date with every thing that is going on within the school community. There are always new ideas, activities and challenges for the children to get involved with whether they are learning from home or at school and there seems to be a huge effort to try and make all the children feel part of the school even when they cannot attend due to lockdown.

The Staff have done a great job in keeping the school safe. They have consistently provided a welcoming, fun, and secure environment for the children so that they can continue to learn and achieve to a high standard during very challenging times.

The staff are always bright and happy and the leadership appears to be very good. The office staff are always so helpful with any queries you may have and will go above and beyond to help put your mind at ease if any problems should arise.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at The Weald. Our daughter is so happy at school and we are so pleased with the level of her learning. She is enjoying being challenged and is teaching us lots of facts too! We know how hard the team is working. We are recommending The Weald to anyone who asks us!

Our son is happier here coming into Year 3 than he has ever been at school and I'm amazed at how quickly he had settled. We are absolutely delighted.

My Son attends while I work at a local preschool and he enjoys his time here immensely. Every day he comes home full of amazing new facts which he has learnt from his teacher.

I would like to say how wonderful every member of the School Staff have been during the years that my two Sons have attended. In particular the past year when we have been faced with this awful time of uncertainty due to the pandemic.
