We were so proud of our Year 6 children who were reflective and thoughtful during our Leavers Service at Guildford Cathedral. They were reminded that God will always be with them as they move onto their next adventure.

The children took part in a variety of reflective activities. They gave thanks to those who had supported them during primary school; wrote 'please' prayers, asking for help in their new schools; washed away their regrets and celebrated their 'wow' moments.

Gaia, our Year 6 faith ambassador, collected the candle and will be ready to pass it on to our Year 5 children at the end of the school year. Henry S, Alexandra and Lucy F proudly processed our Weald standard through the cathedral during the service. Following the service, we took time to sit and eat our lunch in the beautiful grounds of the cathedral, looking over Guildford.
