About the Friends of The Weald

Friends of the Weald are the school's parent/teacher association.

We hold a variety of events throughout the year, in order to raise money (and of course for the children to have fun!).

As with all school PTAs, we are always looking for new members and every parent/carer is welcome. Please contact the school office if you are interested in joining, or occasionally planning or helping at FOTW events or visit the website or Facebook page.

In previous years FOTW have paid for a Panto for all the children, a PA system, microphones, playground equipment, Easter Eggs for the whole school, Amazon vouchers for prizes, we matched the fundraising from bedtime stories which went towards the school library, a library audit, plants and hanging baskets, outdoor benches, a BBQ, Year 6 leavers' hoodies, and we have donated some money towards the Year 6 leavers' disco. We also gave a Christmas present of £100 to each class to spend on anything they liked.
