Breakfast Club

Our schools runs a breakfast club from 7.45 to 8.45am each morning.

Children should be dropped off at the external Dining Hall doors, where they will be met by a member of our Breakfast Club staff.

Breakfast includes wholemeal toast and toppings, whole grain cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bagels and fruit juice.

Breakfast is served from 7.45-8.20am. The children can then participate in a range of interesting activities before being taken to their classrooms at 8:45am.

• Parents who wish to drop off their child at 7.45 am will pay £5 a day which will include breakfast.

• Parents who wish to drop off their child at 8.15 am will pay £2.50 a day which will include breakfast.

• Parents who wish to drop off their child at 8.30 am will pay £1 a day.  This will not include breakfast

Payment should be made in advance or on the day using Scopay.

If you would like to book your child(ren) in to the Breakfast Club, please ring the office or pop in to request a registration form and book your sessions on Scopay.

Clubs

At The Weald CofE Primary School we offer a range of clubs run by external providers and by our own members of staff. They cover activities including sports, crafts, computing and the performing arts. Some are after school and some are at lunch time.

Club lists for each term will be sent to parents at the end of the previous term. Parents are then able to book these using the online Parents' Evening Booking system here.

Clubs, which are run by external providers, will be managed directly by each individual provider; they will bill parents directly at the rate for their club.

Clubs run by staff or parent volunteers are free of charge, with the exception of a few which require a small donation for materials. We are very grateful to our parent volunteers who give their time to enable these clubs to continue.

• Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your child will always get a place at a requested club, as some have only limited availability and places are always allocated on a first come, first served basis.
• Please also note that some of these clubs do have a minimum requirement of attendees. if this number is not met, then the club may not run.
• Please note that children are to be collected from outside the school office.
• Children are advised to be on their best behaviour at all times and treat their club leaders with respect. Any inappropriate behaviour could result with them being excluded from the club. 

Wraparound Care Provision

Love The Ball are delighted to announce that we will be offering after school Wraparound provision at the Weald. We will be using the dining hall and making the most of the outdoor space. We have been providing after school and lunchtime clubs at The Weald for two years and are now in a position to further develop this into after school wraparound care. Please find below, the key information that you should require regarding this provision. The provision will be led by Jack Oxenham and Emily Godwin, who are both familiar to the school. LTB After School Club will run every day from 3:20pm to 5:30pm throughout the school term except for the last day of each term. As a parent, you have the flexibility to book your child for half or full sessions. You may also use the club on a regular or irregular basis depending on your need.

What will a session look like?

3:20pm – 3:30pm - Arrive at the Dining Hall and register

3:30pm – 4:00pm – Session 1

4:05pm – 4:25pm – Healthy snack break

4:30pm - Half session finish/pick-up

4:30pm – 4:50pm – Session 2

4:50pm – 5:10pm – Light dinner

5:10pm – 5:30pm – Free time until close

5:30pm – Full session ends

Our LTB After School Club will include a variety of activities for all children to enjoy. We will also provide opportunities for children to complete their homework and to read. Children will be provided with a healthy snack in the first half session and those attending a full session will receive a snack and a light dinner.

To register your child with LTB, please complete the registration form. Your child will not be permitted to attend until your child has been registered with us. Once you have registered your child with us, it is easy to book your child a place. Please email or ring Emily and provide her with your child’s name and the sessions you need. If you need to use us last minute, please ring or email Emily and let the school know. As long as we have space, it will be no problem at all, please don’t panic!!
