Our day at Young Voices was amazing! It started off with the coach from the school, then the train and tube. Before we knew it, we were eating lunch in The O2! After lunch, we headed off to find our seats in the arena, it was huge! We spent the next three hours going through the songs with the conductor, orchestra and special guests. Then we had a little time to have a tea and get changed in our brand new t-shirts, ready for the concert. Soon the empty seats began to fill with parents and we joined 8,000 other children ready to sing and wave our torches.

The lighting was terrific as we sang our songs and the times we were not singing, we enjoyed listening to performers such as The Beat Box Collective and Anna Phoebe a talented violinist.

Before we knew it, the crowd were disappearing after a massive applause and the whole experience was over. It was a fun packed day and a big thank you to everybody who helped us get there and Mrs Mee for teaching us all the songs.
