SPACE TO LEARN & GROW

Gymnastics

Back in November, two teams from The Weald represented the school in a gymnastics competition against other schools. They had to learn three different routines, which included floor, body management and vault.

Within these routines the children learned and performed skills such as, an arabesque, a japana, rolls, cartwheels and balances. Children had the opportunity to rehearse these before the competition and then perform in front of leaders from The Ashcombe school, who were the judges. They represented the school in a positive manner, being respectful to all and tried their best even when they felt nervous or made a mistake. Well Done!
