We had an excellent campfire to round off the evening activities last night. There were songs and stories and marshmallows. Then it was time to get packing - everything was packed ( hopefully in the right bag ...) and all that was left were a few socks and a couple of pairs of pants! These can be investigated next week if anyone would like to rummage through.
This morning we enjoyed a final breakfast of croissants and made a packed lunch for the ferry. Now we are poised to begin the Scrapheap Challenge!
See you soon!
Everyone slept well after a fabulous scavenger hunt last night. This morning there is sunshine and we are looking forward to mountain biking, sailing and bushcraft! Here are the comments on yesterday.
Kayaking is the best!
I loved making fires in bushcraft!
It was really fun making rafts and going on the water. I enjoyed jumping off and in to the water!
The kayaking was the best so far but all the activities are fun!
The best trip I’ve ever been on even after two days!
Very good breakfasts!
Everyone really enjoyed their activities yesterday despite the rain. We had some very heavy downpours but some dry spells too and it was a lovely evening for our wide games in the field. Raft building was very popular in the poll closely followed by bushcraft.
Everyone was asleep fairly quickly last night and many slept until we woke them at 7. We’ve all eaten a good breakfast ready for the activities today with more water-sports for everyone! Hopefully it is going to be a drier day and maybe even a little sunshine.
The coach journey to the ferry, and the ferry crossing itself was smooth and uneventful and we arrived at Medina Valley in plenty of time for lunch.
This afternoon, the children have already taken part in an amazing variety of activities! So far they have experienced Bushcraft, archery, nightline, team challenges and pioneering. Everyone settled and slept well and ate a hearty breakfast in the morning.
