Our school community is a close and happy community. Our parents, staff and governors work in partnership to provide the best opportunities for every pupil.
We believe that The Weald School is strengthened by its wider community links.
We work closely with our local clergy and their churches. The Reverend Steadman-Allen, Vicar of Holmwood Church, regularly leads our school worship and is a governor.
The whole school attends special services in Holmwood at St Mary Magdalene Church.
Members of the local community kindly volunteer to help within the school, listening to children read, helping with art classes and in the general classroom. Training is provided where this is appropriate.
We play an active part in local events, such as the Holmwood Village Produce Association Summer Fayre, Beare Green community events and Capel Vicarage Fete.
