We are officially a “GOOD” school under the church school framework and are extremely proud of all that the school community has achieved since becoming an academy under the Good Shepherd Trust.  The inspection framework reviews four areas of school provision, progress and standards under the framework of:  The Distinctiveness and Effectiveness of the School as a Church School.  These are:

 

1. The Impact of the school’s distinctive Christian character
2. The Impact of Collective Worship on the school community
3. The effectiveness of Religious Education
4. The effectiveness of the leadership and management of the school as a church school

 

As a church school we are inspected via this framework as well as the OFSTED framework.  Our OFSTED inspection as an academy is likely to take place any time from 2018 onwards.
